Rollgebra for schools and IT reviewers
Rollgebra is a free, independent, browser-based mathematics puzzle game. Players enter equations, see the resulting physical track and release simulated marbles through targets. It is an educational game, not a school-managed learning platform.
In the classroom
Students can explore slopes, intercepts, parabolas, domains, implicit curves, polar equations and the effects of changing parameters. A teacher can demonstrate a graph and discuss why a marble follows the shape; no measured learning outcome or school endorsement is claimed.
Technical and network overview
- Official site
- https://rollgebra.com (and
www.rollgebra.com, which redirects to the main address) - Browser
- Modern browsers with JavaScript and SVG; interactive maths entry can use the open-source MathLive component.
- Accounts
- None required in this release.
- Communications
- No student chat, user-to-user messaging, uploads, leaderboard or advertising in this release.
- Progress
- Drafts and results are stored on the device in browser storage; there is no remotely synchronised student profile.
- External dependencies
- The release uses a pinned MathLive maths editor. See Privacy and the live network inspection for the actual first-party/vendor asset paths; no third-party tracker is intentionally installed.
- HTTPS
- Delivered through Cloudflare Pages with HTTPS and defensive browser response headers.
- Source and third-party software
- Rollgebra is an independent original game; MathLive is used under its open-source licence. Security research and browser checks are ongoing, not independent certifications.
Accessibility and age-related considerations
Track controls are labelled and can be operated with a keyboard. The mathematical editor, animation and assistive-technology support require additional device testing; see Accessibility. The website may be accessed by under-18s, so we use conservative privacy defaults and no behavioural ads or profiling.
Network categorisation
A school or employer may classify Rollgebra as Games even though it is mathematics-focused. Local IT policies remain decisive. If the game is blocked, the appropriate route is an administrator review or a site-specific authorised exception—not a proxy, alternate domain or bypass tool.
When reporting a technical block, include the URL, the security product's warning category and an approximate time (without student account data). A verified direct operator contact channel is still being established; a school requiring a named contact or formal agreement should wait for that information before adopting Rollgebra.
Limits of current release
No school contracts, classroom accounts, data processing agreements, independent penetration-test certification or formal accessibility audit are claimed. See Updates for a dated development record.
